The Buffalo Series homogenizers comply with CE regulations and are available with hourly capacities ranging from 50 to 50,000 l/h, for homogenisation pressures up to 2,000 bar.

Compression Head and Homogenizing Valve

Compression head manufactured from a single block of high quality stainless steel (duplex 2205 or equivalent), machined and ultrasounds checked, with a 5 year guarantee against cracking
Each valve assembly is housed within an individually inspectable duplex 2205 (or equivalent) stainless steel block
Plungers in stainless steel with double coating in chrome and DLC (Diamond Like Carbon)
Rear water chambers (significant reduction in water consumption) containing double bushings for plungers alignment
Valve group assemblies have replaceable seats and hemispherical valve shutters, ideal for processing a very wide range of products
Homogenizing valves designed to provide efficient use of energy, with high stability and alignment of the moving parts (impact head) due to the hydrodynamic assembly, which ensures a vibration-free homogenization
Safety valve, in sanitary execution, of spring type with replaceable shutter and seat

Motorization

Pump body made from a thick walled premium grade high-resistance cast iron, engineered to withstand heavy loads and cancel out vibrations
Crankshaft made of special type ultrasounds checked steel, machined from a heat treated solid piece with high-quality finishing of the crankpins and complete nitriding; supported by 5 heavy-duty roller bearings (with bronze bearings used on the crank pins only)
Power transmission with double reduction stage: "V" belts/pulleys, semi-automatic tensioning system, with two helicoidal gears in the pump body (slow gear coupled directly on the crankshaft)
Pressurized type lubricating plant, correct oil level checked by a proper inspection window installed on the machine front side, irregular oil pressure alarm with warning light, driven impurities filtering. For the best thermal balance / dissipation all transmission's components are oil splashed
3 phase, 4 pole, AC electric drive motor of leading Companies
Frame made of thick carbonated steel squaresection pipe, powder coated, supplied with dismountable satin finish satinless-steel panels
